Isreal army went to fight against Philistines, they lost near Ebenezer

After first defeat, they brought ark of covenant to the camp (from Siloh) so God would help them. It did not help, Philistines won and captured the ark.

After the ark was moved from Ashdod to Gath, and to Ekron, God was hitting people there with tumors/emerods and causing death - just because they have been in same city as the ark.

God killed them because they looked into the ark.

Philistines try to attack them but God paniced them by thunders and thye fled and israel army were killing them as they have been escaping

Ammonites army besieged Jabesh Gilead, so Saul came to help and kill them to rescue Jabesh Gilead people

Army fo 220 000 attacked Amalekites on God order. They supposed to kill all men, women, infants and animals. As they kept animals to live and took with them to later sacrifice to God, God has been angry, because Saul not follow his instructions about eliminating all alive. So God adandon Saul, and rgeretted that he made him a king.

After Goliath dead, Philistines has been scared and run. Israelites followed them and slauthered them

David has been head of army and lead many campaigns against enemies

Saul offered Michal as wife to David, but only if he brings 100 foreskins of Philistines. David killed 200 and brought them to Saul, and then got Michal as wife

Ahimelek (priest in Nob) helped David to flee and gave him sword of Gloiath. When Saul found it, he ordered Ahimelek and his family to come and ask his people to kill them. His people refused so he asked Doeg (Edomite)

After killing priests from Nob near Gibeah, he went to city of Nob and killed all men, women, kids and animals there. One sone of Ahimelek named Abiathar survived

Philistines were faighting against Keilah, so David ask God what to do, and God told him to fight Philistnes to save the Keilah people. So David and his 600 people went to fight

David came to land of Philistines and one local king (Achish son of Maok king of Gath) gave him piece of land (Ziklag) where he can live as he was fleeing from Saul. David was secretly killing poeple in souranded cities, leaving no survivors so they cannot tell to local king.

Amalekites captured people and cattle from David's home (Ziklag) when David was away - going to fight with Philistines against Saul - so David persiut Amalekites until he found them and killed them all except 400 men who fled. And he saved his captured people and his wifes too (Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel)

Israel army was esceping before Philistines and they were loosing battle.
